Access Update for Admin Users
Introduction:
This document explains the new workflow
regarding Access on the Users page for
Admin users.
Requirement:
Adding the
following options to the Access dropdown:
Announcements
Users
- Info
- Partner Portal
- Shop
Implementation in Admin:
Navigation:
Log in to Admin then navigate to Users
Existing Workflow:
Currently the Access
dropdown has options for Subscriptions, Payments, User
Feedback, and Upgrade Account options.
New Workflow:
The Access dropdown will add the following options:
Announcements, Users, Dealer Info, Partner Portal, and Shop.
Note: All of these new options will be Enabled
(selected) by default.
Displaying Admin Access
Whenever a user is created or updated
with specific access: if that user logs into the Dealer Admin portal, the
system ensures that only the selected Access is displayed.
Example 1:
A user has been created with the
following Access options enabled: Announcements, Users, Subscriptions,
Payments, Dealer Info, Partner Portal, and Shop.
Example 2:
A user has been created with the following Access options enabled: Announcements, Users, Payments, Dealer Info, Partner Portal, and Shop.
