WebPOS Interface Plugin Update

 

Introduction

·        Downloading a new interface plugin version will be mandatory for the update to the Web version of POS for Payment and Printer devices.

·        The update will automatically be applied to POS, then you must download the new interface plugin version to use Payment and Printer devices.

·        If the Interface Plugin was not downloaded after the WebPOS update has been applied, a pop-up with a ‘Connection failed…’ message appears:

·        The new Plugin version will apply to Payment and Printer Devices connected to POS.

 

Steps To Follow

1.     Log in to your Web POS store.

2.     Select Operation, then Hardware Settings.

3.     With the existing Interface Plugin: if you attempt to connect Pax then a pop-up with the message ‘Please update Interface Plugin Version 0.1.21’ appears.

 

4.     Select the Printer Settings tab, then press the Interface Plugin button to the right.

5.     On the page that appears, press Download.


6.     After downloading the .exe file: Open it.

7.     On the Windows protected your PC pop-up that appears, click More Info.


8.     Select Run anyway.


9.     On the Interface Plugin Setup pop-up that appears, ensure the Run Interface Plugin box is checked and click Finish.

10.You will now be able to use the available Payment and Printer Device(s) with WebPOS.

 

 

 

Notes:

·        If a Store is using PAX and Printers or Factor 4 as payment methods, it is mandatory for the Store to download the latest Interface Plugin for Payment and Printer devices.
