POS: Menu Options - Apply a Discount to an Item



To apply a Discount to a Menu Item on the Check:

Note: Only Employees with the proper Role and Permission settings have access to apply Discounts.
  1. Otherwise, the Manager access screen will appear. By providing the Manager PIN, the Employee will be able to apply Discounts.

  1. On the Order screen, select a Menu Item.

  2. On the Menu Option menu that appears to the right, select Discounts.


  3. The Discounts window appears, containing the available Item-Based Discounts configured in Back Office.


  4. Select a Discount by tapping on it. Once a Discount has been selected it will be applied to the Menu Item and appear on the Order screen.
     


  1. If there are Discount(s) applied to an Item, they will appear as buttons.
  2. if not, you will not see any Discount(s) or see the error 'No Discount applicable for this item'.
