POS: Phone / Web Orders - Adding Delivery Address on Delivery Dispatch Screen



On both Android and iOS, when the Delivery Address is clicked, the full address will appear. When hovering the mouse pointer near the Delivery Address, the full address will be displayed in the web platform. This Address update applies across various tabs including New, Out, and Complete ensuring that you have access to the complete delivery information.


Existing Functionality

Currently, only partial addresses are displayed in the Delivery Address field.





New Functionality Implementation in POS 

Navigation: Log in POS then select All > Phone/Web Order

When the Service Type is Phone Delivery, Delivery, Phone To Go, To Go or For Here, then a Menu Item is added and Finish is clicked:
  1. The corresponding Check will appear in the Phone/Web Orders tab. In the New and Out sub-tabs: the full Delivery Address will appear in the POS.

  2. In the Complete tab: the fields Address line 1, Address line 2 and ZIP Code only appear in POS.

  3. When you click the Delivery Address, the full address will appear.


  4. The full Delivery Address in POS includes Address Line 1, Address Line 2, and ZIP Code.

  5. On both Android and iOS platforms, Clicks the delivery address fields will display the full delivery address.

  6. The tooltip for the Delivery Address will automatically close after 10 seconds.

POS

When the selected Service Type is Phone Delivery, Delivery, Phone To Go, To Go or For Here, then a Menu Item is added and Finish is clicked:

  1. The corresponding check will appear in the Phone/Web Orders tab. In the New and Out tabs, the full delivery address will be displayed in the POS. When hovering the mouse pointer over the Delivery Address, the full address appears.
    1. This hover functionality will work only on POS.


  2. In the Complete sub-tab: Address line 1, Address line 2 and ZIP Code only appear in POS. When clicking anywhere on the screen, the tooltip for the delivery address will close. The following options will appear – All (default), Assigned, Unassigned, Delivery, For Here, To Go, Web, Paid and Unpaid. By default, the Active Checks of all Order Types will appear in the grid table.

    1. All (default) – When selected, checks with a delivery address will appear. When hovering over or clicking the Delivery Address, the full address will appear in the New and Out tabs. In the Complete tab, only Address Line 1, Address Line 2, and the Zip Code will appear.

    2. Assigned – When selected, checks with a delivery address will appear. When hovering over or clicking the Delivery Address, the full address will appear in the New and Out tabs. In the Complete tab, only Address Line 1, Address Line 2, and the Zip Code will appear.

    3. Unassigned – When selected, checks with a delivery address will appear. When hovering over or clicking the Delivery Address, the full address will appear in the New and Out tabs. In the Complete tab, only Address Line 1, Address Line 2, and the Zip Code will appear.

    4. Delivery – When selected, checks with a delivery address will appear. When hovering over or clicking the Delivery Address, the full address will appear in the New and Out tabs. In the Complete tab, only Address Line 1, Address Line 2, and the Zip Code will appear.

    5. For Here – When selected, checks with a delivery address will appear. When hovering over or clicking the Delivery Address, the full address will appear in the New and Out tabs. In the Complete tab, only Address Line 1, Address Line 2, and the Zip Code will appear.

    6. To Go – When selected, checks with a delivery address will appear. When hovering over or clicking the Delivery Address, the full address will appear in the New and Out tabs. In the Complete tab, only Address Line 1, Address Line 2, and the Zip Code will appear.

    7. Web Order – When selected, checks with a delivery address will appear. When hovering over or clicking the Delivery Address, the full address will appear in the New and Out tabs. In the Complete tab, only Address Line 1, Address Line 2, and the Zip Code will appear.

    8. Paid – When selected, checks with a delivery address will appear. When hovering over or clicking the Delivery Address, the full address will appear in the New and Out tabs. In the Complete tab, only Address Line 1, Address Line 2, and the Zip Code will appear.

    9. Unpaid – When selected, checks with a delivery address will appear. When hovering over or clicking the Delivery Address, the full address will appear in the New and Out tabs. In the Complete tab, only Address Line 1, Address Line 2, and the Zip Code will appear.



  3. Note:  When placing a sale using Third Party Integrations with a Delivery Address, the full address will appear. If the user hovering over or clicking the Delivery Address, the full address will appear in POS. In the Future tab, the Delivery field is not available, so the Delivery Address will not appear. In Native iOS the same long-press functionality will work.
