POS: Table Layout - Overview



If you are a Table Service restaurant, POS provides the ability to draw table maps of all the service areas.

Note: The Table Settings will be configured in the Back Office. For more information see the Table Settings Knowledge Article.

Table Status Color – The colors can be configured in BO on the Table Layout page under Store Settings. See the below example:


  1.      All Check - Displays the total number of tables available in the respective floor.

  2.      Seated - Displays the count of checks that has been made to the table in the respective floor.

  3.      Check Down - If a customer has completed ordering of menu items and asks for a receipt for completing the payment, you will tap on the Print option. When you select the respective check and taps on the Print option, the check will be moved to the Check down status. 

  4.      On Hold - Displays the total number of checks that were in Hold status in the respective floor.

  5.      Expired - The table's Expiration Time will be configured Store Settings screen in the Back Office. When the Time for a Check is extended beyond the configured time, those will be displayed in Expired.

  6.      Multiple - Displays the count of the multiple checks created in a table in the respective floor. For a single table: when multiple checks are added, then the number of multiple checks in table layout will be shown in this screen.
