Tip Settings in Online Ordering

Introduction:

This document explains enable/disable Tip settings in Zenepepper and also explains about time display(pickup hours and delivery hours) for ASAP and Future Order.

Requirement:

·         The system will have the provision to enable/disable Tip settings in Zenpepper Admin screen.

·         The Service Type(Future Order and ASAP) will be available for Store Settings

·         The Time display for ASAP and Future Order will be based on Configured Pickup and Delivery Timings in Zenpepper Admin screen.

·         Message rephrase for Future Orders in the Login page of Zenpepper

·         The orders that are not printed will have an info icon in iPad

Implementation in Zenpepper Admin:

Page Navigation: Log into Zenpepper Admin>> Store Info

        In Store Level Zenpepper Admin screen, the new option “Remove Tip” will be available for the user. By default, Remove Tip option will be in disabled mode. Upon enabling, the tip option will not be shown in Online Orders.

        Here, the change in existing order and change in rename takes place. It is explained in the below tabular form.

In Store Level settings, the Service is renamed as Order Type and under Order Type, the Delivery, PickUp and Curbside Pickup will be listed.

Future Order and ASAP will be grouped under the name Service.




The changed name and order in zenpepper admin screen(store level) will be shown below.



        Store Timing

The Store Timings for ASAP and Future Order will be based on Delivery time and Pickup Time in Zenpepper Admin screen.

Here, the color of the text should be displayed as shown in below tabular column



·         When the Store is available for both ASAP order and Future Order then the Color of the Buttons will be available in Green color.

·         When the Store is available for Future Order then the Color of the Text Message and Buttons will be available in Orange color and should display the message as “Currently ASAP order is not accepted only Future Order is accepted”.

Note :

When iPad is not connected to internet, message “Current store is not accepting orders” shows currently which we can change to “Currently ASAP order is not accepted only Future Order is accepted”

When iPad is connected to internet but store is closed, then message doesn’t show (current flow), we can still show same message Currently ASAP order is not accepted only Future Order is accepted” if they have future order service!

Online Order for Particular Store

The Store Hours, Pickup Hours and Delivery Hours will be available based on the Store Time Settings in Zenpepper Admin page.

PickUp / Curbside – Future Order

The Future Order for each and every store will be available based on the Store Hours which is configured in Store Timing in Zenpepper along with the congigured Pick-Up Time. Here, when Future Order is entered as 2 Days and 2 Hours, then the timing for future order will be displayed based on this entry along with the store hours and pickup hours configured.


Example: The login hours is 10AM



 PickUp / Curbside – ASAP

 Time clock is not required for this option however the user cannot place order(menu will be greyed out) if delivery/pick up time does not match with order placing time

The ASAP for PickUp /Curbside will be available based on the PickUp Hours.

Example: The login hours is 10AM



Delivery  – Future Order

The Future Order for each and every store will be available based on the Delivery Hours which is configured in Store Timing in Zenpepper. Here, when Future Order is entered as 2 Days and 2 Hours, then the timing for future order will be displayed based on this entry along with the delivery hours configured.

Example: The login hours is 10AM



Delivery – ASAP

 Time clock is not required for this option however the user cannot place order (menu will be greyed out )if delivery/pick up time does not match with order placing time

The ASAP for Delivery will be available based on the Delivery Hours.

Example: The login hours is 10AM




Note

      1.       If the store & account has configured service type setting then zen pepper will pick the store setting

      2.       If store has not configured /does not have service type setting then zen pepper will pick the account setting

      3.       It is mandatory to provide the Delivery and Pick-up hours

      4.       The timeclock display based on delivery & pick up time can only be implemented in zenpepper for menu layout(Large, small,no image). This will not be applicable for default menu layout.

      5.       Auto Throttling will work for ASAP order and not for Future Orders

 

Possible Scenarioes and its Expected Output



Implementation in iPad:

Page Navigation: Log into POS>> Check Status>> Active

When Future Order is moved to Active Order status, then automatically kitchen print takes place (existing process).

Here, there may be two possible chances that checks may not be printed they are Check Not Synched and Check Not Printed (Printer will be in Offline). The Info icon will be available for the user stating in order to show the reason for not printing.

The place holder for the info icon should be placed before Check Number (here, the alignment of the check should not be changed)

When check not printed due to print offline or some other printer issue, then the info icon(mousepoint) should display the message as “Check Not Printed”.

When check not synched, the info icon(mousepoint) should display the message as “Check Not Synched”.
