POS
The workflow for Discounts function as-is. To apply an Employee Discount:
- The system will validate whether Access/Permission is given to the Employee trying to apply the Employee Discount.
- If the logged-in Employee currently has access, proceed directly to Step 3 to enter the Employee PIN.
- If the Employee does not have access, the 'Enter Approver PIN or Swipe Card' pop-up will appear, containing a number pad for entering the PIN of someone who has the permissions for approval.

- Once the PIN is verified, a similar pop-up will appear for providing the PIN of the Employee who will be granted the Discount.

- If the Employee PIN is valid, the selected Employee Discount can be applied.
- If not valid, an 'invalid message' notification will appear.
Discount Entry Example
- Employee Name - Alex (his assigned Role currently has the Employee Discount toggle enabled (selected).
- Employee Discount - 20% Off Event
- Since Alex is placing the order, and he is eligible for the 20% Off Event Discount:
- When Alex attempts to apply the Employee Discount, the Manager PIN pop-up will be bypassed and the system will go straight to the Employee PIN entry pop-up.
- Alex enters his PIN to continue applying the Discount.
- If Alex was restricted (due to the Role he's currently logged-in as not having the Employee Discount option enabled (selected):
The Manager PIN pop-up would first appear for a Manager to enter their PIN to approve use of the Discount.
- Alex would then enter his PIN on the Employee PIN pop-up to apply the Discount.
