Navigation: Log into BO and select a Store, then select User Management > Forced Punch-In/Out
Create a New Break
On the Forced Punch-In/Out page, click + Time Event. The New Time Event page appears.
On the New Time Event page, click + New Break. The New Break Event pane appears.
Select the Break from the dropdown.
Select the Dates (calendar view) and Times for the Clock-In and -Out for the Break. Only the past Dates will be allowed.
Click Save. The new Break will be saved.
Note: If an Employee forgot to add a Break in POS, it can be added in Back Office.
Note: Remaining reports will work as-is.
POS
When a Manager is logged into the application, the Active Employees option will be available.
The Active Employee screen displays an employee's details in separate tabs based on the Status. The table contains the following columns:
Employee Name: The employee's name
Status: The status of the employee
All (includes all Employees regardless of status)
For thistab: if the employee is in Inactive state then only the Employee Name and Status will be displayed, and all the remaining columns will be empty.
In Shift (green) Employees that are currently on their Shift
In Break (blue) Employees that are currently on a Break
Inactive or Not In Shift (red) Employees that are currently not working on that particular day i.e., may be leave or not logged in).
For this tab: only the Employee Name and Status will be displayed, and all the remaining columns will be empty
Role: The employee’s role (incase of dual role, the most recent role will be displayed)
Time Cards: How many roles are carried by this employee (role count)
Paid Breaks: This displays the total paid break count along with its time duration
Unpaid Breaks: This displays the total unpaid break count along with its time duration
Total Breaks: This shows the sum of the Paid and Unpaid Breaks.
Total Worked/Paid: This shows the overall total worked hour includes the unpaid break hours and paid hours
Note: All the column’s data’s will be populated based on the Employee/Manager actions that took place for each timecard (based on real time entries).
The Cancel button at the bottom of the screen returns you to the Login screen.
Select the Break Time for the Current Date and the Immediate Future Date.
Employee Schedule Details
Click on an Employee's corresponding plus sign + (expand)to display further details of their schedule. Here, the Time Card 1 and Time Card 2 denotes the dual role performed by that employee.
The Time Clock will work based on the Close Day functionality. When Close Day is made, then manager cannot be able to edit the timings in manager screen (editing can be done in BO when close day is made for the previous day). After the close day is made, the page will be refreshed.
The Time Card 2 shows the Active Role for this employee i.e., the employee is working currently in this shift. Here, the Clock-in time for that employee is displayed and the employee is not yet clocked-out (shows that employee is working currently) and the paid break, unpaid break, total break and total worked/paid will be displayed.
For the same role when employee performs Clock-In and takes the configured break (rest break, meal break) and then Clock-Out and now again the employee Clock-In for this same role then these 2 configured breaks should be displayed in the employee screen. Only the employee will be able to do Clock-In and Clock-Out alone. If employee does not take any break in the first clock-in and clock-out then the break can be shown in the second clock-in and clock-out for that employee for the same role.
Below the employee, all the breaks for that shift will be displayed such as and this will be populated based on the BO configuration.
Add or Edit Timecard
Click Add Time Card to add the timecard for that Employee, or to edit click the corresponding Edit button.
Select the Role from the dropdown.
Select the time Clock In Date/Time and Clock Out Date/Time. For Only the Current Date and the Immediate Future Date will be enabled.
Click Add Paid/Unpaid Break to add one of the Break options.
Select the Break's Start Date and Time.
Select the Break's End Date and Time.
Note: Only the Current Date and the Immediate Future Date will be enabled.
Select theReason for the Break from the dropdown.
The Duration of the Break will be auto-calculated based on the selected Start Time and End Time.
Delete a Break
For a Break: under Actions, select Delete (trash can icon at the right-end of a row)to delete a Break.
Delete a Time Card
When editing a Time Card, click Delete to the right next to (Cancel and Save).
On the Delete pop-up that appears, select YES to confirm deleting the Time Card.
