POS: Payment Surcharge - Service Charge



Back Office

Navigation: Log into BO, and for your Store select Settings > Payments > Payment Settings

  1. On the Payment Settings page, ensure the Payment Surcharge toggle is enabled (set to YES).

  2. After enabling the toggle, select the Service Charge option.


  3. Create a new Service Charge by clicking on + Service Charge.


  4. On the New Service Charge pane that appears:

    1. (Mandatory) Select the Card Type from the drop-down.
    2. If there's a Service Charge, enter its percentage.
    3. If there's a Tip Charge, enter its percentage.
    4. If there's a Gratuity Service Charge, enter its percentage.



  5. After entering the Name and all relevant Charges: click Save at the bottom-right of the pane.


POS

When the Check total includes any Service Charge, then the Service Charge percentage along with its calculated Amount will be displayed.
Example: When the Service Charge is configured as 3.5% in BO, then on the Front End Receipt the percentage and amount for service charge should be displayed as shown below
