Retail Back Office: Products/Items - Attributes



Navigation: Log into the BO for your Store, then select Products/Items > Attributes

Product attributes are the components of a product that describe its features. The attributes of a product don’t change, but which attributes you choose to show will vary depending on the CampaignCustomer, or Brand. (Example: Size, Color). Initially when there is no attribute created, then the message 'Attribute not Found' appears.
 

Create a New Attribute / Update an Existing Attribute

  1. Create a new Attribute by clicking + New Attribute (or update an existing one by clicking the corresponding pencil icon). The New/Update Attribute pane appears.


  2. Enter the Attribute Name (mandatory). It can contain both letters and numbers but has a maximum of 50 characters.


  3. After entering the Attribute Name, you must enter at least one relevant Value. Each Value can contain letters and numbers but has a maximum of 25 characters.


  4. With a Name and at least one Value entered, click Save (or Update) button. You are returned to the main Attributes page where the confirmation appears at the upper-right.



Delete an Attribute Value

  1. To delete a Value, click the corresponding trash can icon.


  2. On the Delete pop-up click Delete.



Delete (Deactivate) an Attribute

  1. Identify the Attribute to deactivate, then under Actions click the corresponding trash can button.


  2. On the Delete pop-up that appears, click Delete.


  3. You are returned to the main Attributes page, where the confirmation message 'Attribute Inactivated Successfully' appears.


  4. Deactivated Attributes can be viewed by clicking the Active button to display all Inactive Attributes.
