Retail Back Office: Products/Items - Gift Cards
A Gift Card is a prepaid stored-value money card issued by you to be used as an alternative payment on purchases within your particular store or larger business.
Navigation: Log into the Back Office for your Store then select Products/Items > Gift Cards
The Gift Cards screen displays a table of all Gift Card Numbers and their Balances.
Create a New Gift Card (or Update an Existing Gift Card)
On the Gift Cards page: to create a new Gift Card click + New Gift Card (or to update an existing Gift Card, click the corresponding three dots (···) under Actions followed by Edit. The New/Update Gift Card pane appears

Enter the Card Number. It must contain only numbers. It cannot exceed 25 digits and must not be identical to an existing Gift Card Number.
Enter the Balance (default currency).

When the Balance is entered, the Payment Methods options appear:
Cash: The Gift Card was purchased with Cash.
Card: The Gift Card was purchased with a Credit Card. Select the Card Type (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) from the dropdown, then enter the Last 4 Digits on the Credit Card.
Discount 100%: The Gift Card was issued without payment being received.
When ready, click Save (or Update). You are returned to the main Gift Cards page where the confirmation banner appears at the upper-right.

Click Cancel or X Close to return to the Gift Cards page without creating or updating the Gift Card.
Recharge a Gift Card
Under the Actions column: click the corresponding three dots (···) then Recharge.

- On the Recharge Gift Card pane that appears. Enter the Recharge amount to be added to the card.

Note: If the Gift Card currently has a Balance above 0, this amount will be added to any existing Balance. Example: if the current Balance of the card is $300, after the $50 Recharge the new Balance will be $350.
- When the Balance is entered, the Payment Methods options appear:
Cash: The Recharge was purchased with Cash.
Card: The Recharge was purchased with a Credit Card. Select the Card Type (Visa, Mastercard, etc.) from the dropdown, then enter the Last 4 Digits on the Credit Card.
Discount 100%: The Recharge was added without payment being received.
When ready, click Save. You are returned to the main page where the 'Gift Card amount credited successfully' confirmation banner appears at the upper-right and the new Balance is reflected on the recharged Gift Card.

Click Cancel or X Close to return to the Gift Cards page without recharging the Gift Card.
- Note: Gift Cards can also be recharged from the POS.
Delete (Deactivate) a Gift Card
Notes:
- Account Level Gift Card: When the Account Level Gift Card toggle in Admin level settings is enabled, then this Gift Card will apply to all Stores under your Account.
- Store Level Gift Card: This Gift Card will apply only to the specific Store from which it was created.
