POS: Phone / Web Orders - Future Tab
Order types that display on the Future tab are For Here, To Go, Delivery and Web Orders that were marked for Later (In-Store) or Future (Online).
Sorting
Use the filters to quickly sort the orders on the Future tab.
- All (default) – All future orders with the For Here, To Go, Delivery and Web Order Order Type.
- Delivery – Will show only future delivery orders (Store Delivery, Phone Delivery and Web Delivery).
- For Here – Will show only future For Here orders.
- To Go – Will show only future To Go orders (Store To Go, Phone To Go and Web To Go).
- Web Order – Will show only future orders placed online. (Web To Go and Web Delivery).
- Paid – Will show all For Here, To Go, Delivery and Web Orders that have a full payment on the order.
- Unpaid – Will show all For Here, To Go, Delivery and Web Orders that have no payment or a partial payment on the order.
Display Columns
- Customer Name: The Name of the Customer who placed the Order.
- Phone: Displays the customer's Contact Number for communication regarding their Order.
- Type: Indicates the Order Type: For Here, Store To Go, Phone To Go, Web To Go, Store Delivery, Phone Delivery, or Web Delivery.
- Check #: The system generated number for the specific order.
- Order Date: The Day the Order was received. Displays Day/Month/Year.
- Delivery Date: The Day that was selected for the Order.
- Recv Time: The Time the Order is to be ready for the customer (picked up/delivered). Displays HH:MM - only displays in 24 hr time measurement (aka military time).
- Total: The Total amount of the Order.
- Balance: The Balance still due for the Order.
Bottom Navigation
Add – Start a new Order
- Edit – Tap on an order and tap Edit to open the order and make any changes/payments needed.
- Departure – This button is greyed out on the New tab.
- Arrival – This button is greyed out on the New tab.
- Cancel Order – Tap on an order and tap Cancel Order to void out the order.
- If there is a payment on the order, the check will open to the payment screen and the error message “Payment(s) made on this Check, Kindly delete the payment to void the Menu Item” will appear.

- To proceed, tap Done. Tap the payment in the Description box where it says Success. Tap Delete. Tap Back and Void out the order.
- Pay Check – Tap an unpaid order and tap Pay Check to open the order to the Payment screen.
- Print – Tap an order and tap Print to print the customer receipt
- Operations – Tap to open the Operations navigation
To Change to a Future Day/Time of a Future Order
Tap on the order’s Delivery Date to open a calendar and clock. It defaults to the existing Day and Time selected for the order. Click on a new Date on the calendar to change the Date. Use the up and down arrows on the Hour, Minutes and AM/PM clock fields to adjust the time the Order should be ready. Then tap on Done.
Orders Moving from Future to New Tab
The Back Office setting Print Future Order Before can be found under Settings > Application > Delivery.
Future orders automatically move from the Future tab to the New tab based on the future day and time set on the order and the minutes set on the Print Future Order Before field in the Back Office. If the Print Future Order Before is set to 10 mins the future order will move to the Active tab 10 mins before the order’s Receive Time (ready time).
